Little Button Craft & Press was started in July 2015 by owners Madelyn and Jennifer Posey of Hedonist Artisan Chocolates. Madelyn is a knitter and a letterpress printer, and Little Button is the home of “Pearl”, an 1895 printing press.
If you stop in the shop (which we hope you do), you will find items made by 50 local artists. We have pottery, jewelry, letterpress, clothing, knit things, and kids clothes just to name a few. Little Button also carries Blue Sky Alpaca yarn, Madelyn’s favorite to knit with.
Jennifer grew up in Santa Cruz, CA and Madelyn was a traveling nurse in Los Angeles, CA for a number of years. They both love to travel and seek out small shops in big cities. Because of this, their shop has a tendency to make one feel as though they have been transported somewhere else. It has the feeling of a cool little shop you’d find in San Francisco, or Boston, or Portland. It has been the goal of Madelyn and Jennifer to bring handmade things found when traveling here to Rochester as well!
