The swag bags are quite plump! There are buttons, art, zines, jewelry, plush, snack bags, magnets, patches, pens, key chains, hair ties, and much more! Here’s a bit of what we’ve got for YOU this Saturday.

Sample Soap is a non-profit charity in Rochester, NY.

Sample Soap collects personal care items and distributes them to the neediest citizens of the Greater Rochester, New York area. They collect unopened soaps, shampoos, lotions, sewing kits, diapers, cosmetics, tooth brushes and toothpaste.

They don’t ask for money – only the toiletries you don’t want.

Sample Soap will be conducting a toiletry collection at Mayday Underground. They’ll even have a sweet bubble machine! If you bring in toiletries to donate, they’ll give you a raffle ticket for a chance at winning a “Mondo” Swag Bag, which will be filled with original art, jewelry, buttons, plush, soap, notecards, and candles from our vendors.

What’s to lose? Bring in your trial sized soaps you never used from that hotel stay or those free toothbrushes your dentist gave you and you could win a swag bag!

If you missed it last time, Hedonist will be returning to Mayday Underground on April 30 to offer tastings and sell their artisan chocolates.

Jennifer Posey and Zahra Langford are the owners of Hedonist Artisan Chocolates in Rochester, NY. Their storefront is located in the South Wedge at 674 South Avenue.

Hedonist Artisan Chocolates hand crafts truffles and chocolate treats with French chocolate and fresh, natural ingredients. Each piece of Hedonist chocolate has a character all its own because it is rolled, cut, dipped and decorated by human hands in small batches.

A hedonist is someone whose life is devoted to the pursuit of sensual pleasures. They find their bliss in chocolate and hope to help you do the same.
