Little Button Craft & Press was started in July 2015 by owners Madelyn Kerber, and Jennifer Posey of Hedonist Artisan Chocolates. Madelyn is a knitter and a letterpress printer and Little Button is the home of “Pearl”, an 1895 printing press.
If you stop in the shop (which we hope you do), you will find local artists handmade goods on consignment and a bunch of things from other artists from around the country. Little Button also carries Blue Sky Alpaca yarn, Madelyn’s favorite to knit with.
Jennifer grew up in Santa Cruz, CA and Madelyn was a traveling nurse in Los Angeles, CA for a number of years. The shop has a tendency to make one feel as though they have been transported somewhere else. It has the feeling of a cool little shop you’d find in San Francisco, or Boston, or Portland. It has been the goal to bring some of those things found when traveling here to Rochester.
Come visit at 658 South Avenue, hours are Tuesday-Saturday 12-7pm, and Sunday 12-4pm. Craft workshops to start late fall/winter with a variety of local artists guest teaching. #craftliveshere
